COVID-19 FAQS

We would like to thank all our customers who have shopped with us during this time. We will continue to strive to provide you with the products you need to stay calm and bake on!

 

We are operating with minimal staff numbers so please bear with us if there is a delay in replying to emails, answering the phone or replying to online chat.

 

Here are a few FAQs regarding the effects of COVID-19 on our business. If you have a question that we haven’t answered here please give us a ring or ask us via online chat.

 

Are you open?

Yes! our online store will remain open.

 

Delivery delays:

•             While our dispatch times have not changed, our delivery companies, including Australia Post and Couriers Please, have been experiencing delays on delivery times, especially with Victorian orders where there is a minimum 3 day delay currently.

 

We also ask that you select the ‘leave at door’ option to assist delivery drivers with contactless deliveries. Australia Post are busier than they are at Christmas and are operating with fewer staff. They are working hard to get everyone’s deliveries where they need to go as quickly as possible, but please bear with them.

 

Please note that Australia Post has temporarily suspended next day deliver guarantee on express parcels. While most express parcels are arriving on time, some could take five business days or more to reach their destination. 

 

In market stall measures:

You can visit us in our market stall (announcement of of these locations available in our Instagram & Facebook page). We have a hand sanitiser station before you enter the store and ask all our customers to practise social distancing while ordering. We have increased the frequency of sanitising our products, countertops and Eftpos machines.

 

Are you still taking cash?

Yes, you can still pay with cash in our market stall. We have hand sanitiser at the counter.

 

Do you offer contactless pick up?

Yes, we do! Simply place your order online or over the phone for pick up. Once you get the notification that your order is ready, come on over and give us a ring when you arrive in the carpark. One of our staff members will bring your order out to your car and can place it in the boot for you.

PRIVACY & SAFETY

Add details such as how you use third-party banking to verify payment, the way you collect data or when will you contact users after their purchase was completed successfully.

 

Your user’s privacy is of the highest importance to your business, so take the time to write an accurate and detailed policy. Use straightforward language to gain their trust and make sure they keep coming back to your site!

ARE YOU ABLE TO SPECIAL OR CUSTOM MADE ORDER IN CERTAIN PRODUCTS?

Absolutely! If there is something you have been looking for but cannot find it in the store please email sweetateliersydney@gmail.com with the details of the item you are after and we will endeavour to find it for you

.

 Products that have been specially ordered in may require a deposit to confirm your order, however we will provide the details during the quote process. Special orders may also incur a freight surcharge if the products are over our weight & size restrictions. If your special order incurs a freight surcharge this will be included in your quote prior to ordering.

DO YOU HAVE PRODUCTS FOR SPECIFIC DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?

Not at the moment, if you are looking for products that are gluten free, vegan, Halal we currently don’t have them but are working to provide these options soon.

PAYMENT METHODS

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept Paypal, Direct Debit and Credit Cards. We will happily take phone orders if you prefer to pay over the phone. Please note we do not store your payment details and we never write your card details down if you ring us and order over the phone.

IS SWEET ATELIERS WEBSITE SECURE?

Most definitely! The security of data on our website is of major importance to us. We have done everything we can to secure the data on our website and ensure your sensitive information like credit card details aren't compromised.

 

IS IT SAFE TO USE MY CREDIT CARD ON www.sweetatelier.com.au?

Like data security, credit card security is incredibly important and we make sure we use the most secure and reliable credit card facility. To ensure your online shopping safety we have a secure payment gateway with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia using 256bit SSL security on our website. You will notice that in the address bar of your browser, there is a padlock next to our internet address, this means that our entire website, and not just our checkout, is secure and safe for you to use.
